Answer :  A (6 N)

we know that

from Hook's law , F = k.x

                             where, F = force applied on spring 9N)

                                         k = spring constant  (N/cm)

                                         x = distance of spring stretched (cm)

                           Therefore,

                                        F = 2 × 3

                                        F  = 6 N

Why is creativity important in constructing specific methods?
Nat2105 [25]

Hi!

The correct option would be C.

Explanation:

Scientific method is the protocol in an experiment for a hypothesis that involves testing, measurement, observation and necessary modification of hypothesis during the course of the experiment. There are several manners and experiments that can be tested for the hypothesis, and plenty of ways to design an experiment.

Scientific experiments can be very tricky to design, owing to the numerous parameters and variables that need to be accounted for. Of course, there are some relatively simple experiments. Creativity is needed for all branches of science, because each field presents obstacles in discovery, and creativity allows for us to devise ways around those obstacles. Science has always tested humans ability to think outside the box and question their surroundings, and creativity has been the driving force.

Hope this helps!

A positive charge is placed within the sphere without touching it. You grounded the sphere by touching it with your finger. Then
zhuklara [117]

Answer:

Negative

Explanation:

If a negatively charged object is used to charge a neutral object by induction, then the neutral object will acquire a positive charge. And if a positively charged object is used to charge a neutral object by induction, then the neutral object will acquire a negative charge:

We have a neutral sphere

1) Electrons are attracted to the positive charge

2) Electrons enter the sphere from ground, attrated to the + charge in the sphere

3) The sphere has an excess of e- having entered from the ground

4) Electrons redistribute uniformly

True or false conceptual physics 2 questions from chapter 25.
Arlecino [84]

Answer:

Explanation:

1) TRUE; potential difference can be calculated using path integral. Since the electric field is a conservative, the potential difference can be calculated using any path.

2) TRUE; since potential due to a charge is inversely dependent on distance, at infinity the potential will be almost zero.

3) TRUE, W = q.VBA.

4) FALSE; eV is a unit for work (or) energy.

5) TRUE; since the electric force is conservative force. There will be no loss in energy, the decreased potential energy will be coverted to kinetic energy.

6) FALSE; in the direction of electric field the potential decreases.

7) FALSE; equipotential surface is perpendicular to the electric field lines.

8) FALSE; electrostatic potential is scalar quantity. It depends only on the charge and distance from it.

9) FALSE; Inside a conductor the electric field is zero but the electric potential is constant at the value that is at the surface of the conductor.

10) TRUE; as long as the field is being measured outiside the body the bodies act as point charges. So electric fields due to all types of bodies charged identically will be equal.

A car uses ____________________________ to move. Select one: a. energy b. pulls c. motion d. work
Fynjy0 [20]

Answer:

Option A.

Explanation:

The correct answer is Option A.

The car uses energy to move.

A car is a machine that converts energy locked in fuel like petrol or diesel and turn it into mechanical energy.

The energy produced from the combustion of gasoline is then used to move the shaft, which sends the power to the rear axle and the wheel starts to move.
