Answer:

For isotope we can say

Atomic Number = Number of protons = 7

Number of neutrons = 10

So isotope is given as X-17

Explanation:

As we know that isotope is defined as the atoms which have same number of protons but different number of Neutrons

So isotopes must have same atomic number or same number of protons

But since they have different neutrons so they must have different mass number

So here we can say

it must have atomic Number = Number of protons = 7 protons

Number of Neutrons = 10

Mass Number = Number of Neutrons + number of protons

Mass Number = 7 + 10 = 17

So it is given as X-17

Atomic Number is 7, because isotopes contain the same number of protons. The mass number is 17, because protons + neutrons = mass number.

You walk 6 m North and then 4 m south what distance did you travel? What is your displacement?
mestny [16]
<span>Distance is the actual path covered and displacement is the shortest distance from the object to the point of origin.

Distance is a total of 10m because you walked 6m initially and then another 4m. 6m + 4m = 10m

Displacement includes the starting point. You walked 6m North. Then you turned around and walked 4m South. Your total displacement is 2m because that is your current distance from the starting point.

The tension in the horizontal cord is 30N. Find the weight of the object.
vazorg [7]
Making a drawing of the system, we will have two forces which are tension and the weight of the object. Balancing the forces present, we do as follows:

T = W
W = 30 N

Therefore, weight is equal to 30 N. Hope this answers the question. Have a nice day. Feel free to ask more questions.
