Given that radius of a circle is 14 cm, find its circumference and area
agasfer [191]

Let r denote radius.

To find circumference we use

C=2\pi r=28\pi\approx\boxed{87.92\mathrm{cm}}

To find area we use

A=\pi r^2=196\pi\approx\boxed{615.44\mathrm{cm^2}}

Hope this helps.

Search results for There were 35 bunches of roses and tulips. Each brunch at 12 of the same flowers. There were seven more bunch
KIM [24]
If it is supposed to say <span>seven more bunches of tulips than roses,  that would mean, if there are 35 bunches in all, and if each bunch had 12 of the same flowers.... that must mean each bunch had 12 flowers so, 12*1/2/35.  35/1/2 would be 35/0.5 that would equal... 17.5. so, 12*17.5= 210. if there was seven more added, than, 7/2= 3.5 and 12*3.5= 42. 210+42=252.

That means there are 252 tulips, i might be wrong (i probably am), i am just going by logic, lol

Paula has a dog that weighs 3 times as much as Carla's dog. The total weight of the dogs is 48 pounds. How much does Paula's dog
spayn [35]
Let the weight of Paula's dog be x
Let the weight of Carla's dog be y

We know that the weight of Paula's dog is 3 times that of Carla's dog, therefore:
x = 3y ...........> equation I

We also know that the sum of the weights is 48 pounds, therefore:
x + y = 48 ............> equation II

Substitute with equation I in equation II:
3y + y = 48
4y = 48
y = 12 pouds

Substitute with the value of y in equation I:
x = 3(12) = 36 pounds

Based on the above calculations:
Paula's dog weighs 36 pounds
Carla's dog weighs 12 pounds
