Vector A is of magnitude 12 m and it makes an angle of 37 degree with Y axis

So here we can say that

\frac{A_x}{A} = sin37

A_x = A sin37

A_x = 12 sin37

A_x = 7.22 m

Similarly we have

\frac{A_y}{A} = cos37

A_y = A cos37

A_y = 12 cos37

A_y = 9.58 m

So here we have

A_y = 9.58 m, A_x = 7.22 m

option A is correct

In 2009, usain bolt of jamaica set a world record of 9.58 s in the 100-m dash. what was his average speed? give your answer in k
geniusboy [140]
<span>Using a calculator, we find that Usain Bolt's average speed over the 100 meter race was about 23.2 miles per hour. Note that some of the numbers in this calculation, namely 100, 3600, and 5280 are exact while 3.28 and 9.63 are only approximate. Since the approximate numbers only have 3 significant digits we only report three digits in the final answer.

Pin p is constrained to move along the curve defined by the lemniscate r=(4sin2θ)ft.if the slotted arm oa rotates counterclockwi
ruslelena [56]

position of the peg is given by the equation

r = 4 sin2\theta

now the rate of change in position is given as

v = \frac{dr}{dt}

v = \frac{d}{dt}(4 sin2\theta)

v = 8cos2\theta*\frac{d\theta}{dt}

v = 8 cos2\theta*\omega

given that

\omega = 1 rad/s

\theta = 59 degree

now we have

v = 8*cos(2*59)* 1 = -3.76 m/s

<em>so its speed will be 3.76 m/s in magnitude</em>

If a road does not have a bicycle lane, where must a bicyclist ride their bicycle?
DIA [1.3K]
A bicyclist can ride their bicycle still on the road. Bicycle riders be able to take the public ways which has the similar rights and accountability as motorists and are subject to the same guidelines and protocols. The law says that individuals who ride bikes should ride as nearby to the right side of the road as likely excluding under the following conditions: when passing, preparing for a left go, evading risks, if the lane is too constricted to share, or if oncoming a place where a right turn is approved. In a road which has a bike lane the bicyclists roving slower than road traffic must custom the bike way excluding when creating a left turn, passing, evading hazardous settings, or impending a place where a right turn is approved.

When stated as a percentage, the useful energy transferred by a device divided by the total energy supplied to the device is kno
Verdich [7]

Efficiency

Explanation:

Efficiency is a ratio/percentage that is useful in comparing the energy transferred by a device to the total energy supplied to it.

  Percentage efficiency = \frac{energy input}{total energy supplied} x 100

  • As with most system, none is 100% efficient.
  • During energy is transferred some are lost and only a little portion is used in doing actual work by the machine.
  • This validates the third law of thermodynamics which proposes that no system is 100% efficient.
  • A 100% efficiency implies total energy input is used doing all the work.
  • This is impossible. The bulk of the energy goes into heating the system.
