Answer:

In my point of view, I think the energy that causes evaporation comes from the sun. The sun is what heats the water and makes tiny vapors evaporate into the air which forms clouds.

I also agree that the energy comes from the sun however the energy itself is radiation. The evaporation is obsorbed into the air and the procession the water cycle continues to happen over and over again.

Where on the Earth would you have to be to see the North Celestial Pole exactly halfway between your horizon and zenith?
mario62 [17]

Answer:

The point straight overhead on the celestial sphere for any observer is called the zenith and is always 90 degrees from the horizon. The arc that goes through the north point on the horizon, zenith, and south point on the horizon is called the meridian.

From any location on Earth you see only half of the celestial sphere, the half above the horizon.

If you stood at the North Pole of Earth, for example, you would see the north celestial pole overhead, at your zenith. The celestial equator, 90° from the celestial poles, would lie along your horizon.

Drag the positive or negative feedback loop on the left to each process on the right. terms may be used once, more than once, or
slamgirl [31]

The order of the positive and negative feedback loops are positive, positive, negative, positive, positive, negative.

What is a feedback loop?

A system component known as a feedback loop is one in which all or a portion of the output is used as input for subsequent actions. A minimum of four phases comprise each feedback loop. Input is produced in the initial phase. Input is recorded and stored in the subsequent stage. Input is examined in the third stage, and during the fourth, decisions are made using the knowledge from the examination.

Both negative and positive feedback loops are possible. Insofar as they stay within predetermined bounds, negative feedback loops are self-regulating and helpful for sustaining an ideal condition. One of the most well-known examples of a self-regulating negative feedback loop is an old-fashioned home thermostat that turns on or off a furnace using bang-bang control.

At t = 0 the components of a radio-controlled car's velocity are vx = 0.5 m/s and vy = 1.2 m/s. Find the components of the car's
FinnZ [79.3K]

Answer:

x-component of velocity = 5.7 m/s

y-component of velocity = -1.4 m/s

Explanation:

Use first equation of motion to find components of velocity at a given time:

v = u + at

where, v is the final velocity, u is the initial velocity, a is the acceleration and t is the time.

Given:

u_x= 0.5 m/s\\u_y=1.2 m/s\\a_x=2 m/s^2\\a_y=-1m/s^2\\t = (2.6-0)s =2.6 s

v_x=u_x+a_xt\\\Rightarrow v_x=0.5+2\times 2.6\\\Rightarrow v_x=5.7 m/s

v_y=u_y+a_yt\\\Rightarrow v_y=1.2-1\times 2.6\\\Rightarrow v_y=-1.4 m/s
