Answer:

Explanation:

As the current carrying wire carries current in south to north direction, the direction of magnetic field is given by the Right hand thumb rule which is in anticlockwise direction so the magnetic compass deflects towards west.

A soccer ball kicked with a force of 12.5 N accelerates at 6.2 m/s’ to the right. What is the mass of the ball? Answer in units
stepladder [879]

Answer:

m = 2.01[kg]

Explanation:

This problem can be solved using Newton's second law which tells us that the force applied on a body is equal to the product of mass by acceleration.

F =m*a

where:

F = force = 12.5 [N]

m = mass [kg]

a = acceleration = 6.2 [m/s²]

12.5=m*6.2\\m = 2.01[kg]

In which of the following processes does the molecules become more orderly?A) water freezing B) ice melting C) water evaporating
Sliva [168]

A) Water freezing

This is called the process of turning water as a liquid to its solid form which is ice.

Ice is almost together as one unlike liquid. This is why the molecules are more orderly.

The process of freezing is exothermic which means the heat has to be removed in the process.

Three identical springs each have the same spring constant k. if these three springs are attached end to end forming a spring th
wlad13 [49]
If the springs are connected together from end to end, they are arranged in series. For springs in series, the forces are additive.

Spring 1: F1 = k1(Δx1)
Spring 2: F2 = k2(Δx2)
Spring 1: F3 = k3(Δx3)

Total Force = k1(Δx1)+k2(Δx2)+k3(Δx3)
Total Force = (k1+k2+k3)(Δx,total)

The spring constants are added together and multiplied with the total length of elongation to find the total force acting on it.
