Answer: One is when a bike stops. The other is when you rub your hands together to get warm.

Explanation: Force and friction affect our daily lives in numerous amounts of ways. For instance, when a football is kicked, it moves faster later after some time its force decreases due to friction. A common example of friciton is when a bike stops. When the brakes are applied the friction on the pads cause the bike to stop. The other is because you are getting warm with friction.

ASHA 777 [7]

Answer:

5595 m

Explanation:

The wave travels down   (the depth) and the back up (the depth again)

  this distance is     2 d

2 d =  1492 m/s * 7.5 s

2d = 11190 m

d = 5595 m

How does the gravitational force between two objects change if the distance between the objects doubles?
Ymorist [56]

if the distance between the objects is doubled the force is reduced by a factor of 4

<h3>Whats is gravitational force?</h3>

Gravitational force is the force of attraction between objects in the universe.

f = G * m1 * m2 / r^2

f = gravitational force

G = gravitational constant

m1 = mass of object 1

m2 = mass of object 2

r = distance between the objects

From the formular, the gravitational force and the distance is an inverse relationship so increasing the distance by a factor results to reduction of the force by the square of the factor. hence doubling the distance which is distance mutiplied by 2 will lead to reduction of the force by 2^2 = 4

Therefore: The force decreases by a factor of 4.

hope it helps

Dry air is primarily composed of nitrogen. In a classroom demonstration, a physics instructor pours 3.6 L of liquid nitrogen int
neonofarm [45]

Answer:

The  value is  V_n  =  2.2498 \  m^3

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

   The volume of  liquid nitrogen is  V_n  =  3.6 \  L=  3.6 *10^{-3} \ m^3

   The  density of  nitrogen at gaseous form   is  \rho_n = 1.2929 \ kg/m^3  =  The dry air at sea level

Generally the density of nitrogen at liquid form is

         \rho _l = 808 \  kg/m^3

And this is mathematically represented as

      \rho_l  =  \frac{m}{V_l }

=>   m  =  \rho_l  *  V_l

Now the density of  gaseous nitrogen is

       \rho_n  =  \frac{m}{V_n }

=>   m  =  \rho_n  *  V_n

Given that the mass is constant

       \rho_n  *  V_n  =   \rho_l  *  V_l

        1.2929*  V_n  =   808  *  3.6*10^{-3}

=>   V_n  =  2.2498 \  m^3

What is difference between heat engine and carnot engine
labwork [276]

Answer: A heat engine uses temperature differences which cause pressure changes to exert force on a moving part. A Carnot Process is a theoretical explanation of a process involving pressure and temperature changes during ,amongst other things, phase changes.
