I think it’s D, mostly just because all the other ones seem like they couldn’t be the answer.

It’s not D, it’s B. Using a bigger range would mean there’s a greater expanse of answers, not a precise, accurate reading. Removing anamalies would make it more accurate- they’re results that don’t fit the pattern, so removing them would make the results even more results. Therefore, the answer is B. Hope this helps!

Astronaut X of mass 50kg floats next to Astronaut Y of mass 100kg while in space, as shown in the figure. The positive direction
jonny [76]

Answer:

C

Explanation:

The change in momentum of x has to be the opposite of the change in momentum of Y because the momentum is just transferred from one to another. But I'm still trying to figure it out how to calculate.

Hi, I need your help with this Physics exercise, I hope you can help me A pulse moving to the right along the x axis is represen
igomit [66]

Answer:

Velocity = 0.309 m/s

Along negative x axis

Explanation:

A pulse moving to the right along the x axis is represented by the wave function

y(x,t) = 2/ (x - 3t)² + 1

At t =0

y(x,0) = 2/ ((x - 3(0))² + 1)

        =2 / (x² + 1)

At t = 1

y(x,t) = 2/ ((x - 3(1))² + 1)

= 2 /(( x - 3)² + 1)

At t = 2

y(x,t) = 2/ ((x - 3(2))² + 1)

= 2 /(( x - 6)² + 1)

For the pulse with expression y(x,t) = 4.5e^{-(8.73x + 2.70t)}²

The Velocity is

V = 2.7 / 8.73

= 0.309 m/s

A sled of mass m is being pulled horizontally by a constant horizontal force of magnitude F. The coefficient of kinetic friction
steposvetlana [31]

Answer:

The average velocity of the sled is vavg = s/t.

Explanation:

Hi there!

The average velocity is calculated as the traveled distance over time:

vavg = Δx/Δt

Where:

vavg = average velocity.

Δx = traveled distance.

Δt = elapsed time.

We already know the traveled distance (s) and also know the time it takes the sled to travel that distance (t). Then, the average velocity can be calculated as follows:

vavg = s/t
