Answer:

O blood is a recessive trait, so none of the children will have O blood. The genes for either type A or Type B will be determined by the egg/sperm being fertilized with the reproductive cell of the other parent. the probability of receiving either of the gene versions is 1/2, so half of the children will have A blood and the other half will have B blood

suppose you have the monohybrid pea plants in your garden and find that they produce round seed to wrinkled seeds in the ration
Arisa [49]

Answer;

The correct answer would be Rr.

In a monohybrid cross, the phenotype ratio of 3:1 is obtained only when both the parents are heterozygous for the trait.

In this condition, the heterozygous genotype would be Rr. The phenotype of both the parents would be round seeds (R) as the round is a dominant trait.

The cross of these parents would produce offspring with three types of genotypes RR, Rr, and rr in ratio 1:2:1.

Thus, the phenotypic ratio would come out to be 3 (round seed):1 (wrinkled seed).

Independent variable is what is being changed- so the amount of water and the light, what type of music, string or rubber band
dependent variable is what is changing is response to the independent variable, so the plant growth, time it takes for baby to quiet, etc.

put hypothesis in “if..then..” statement by putting the independent variable and then the dependent variable in the blanks.
for example, “if the amount of water is increased, then the plant growth will increase”
“if classical music is played, then the baby will quiet faster”

hope that helps

Describe the difference in how a monosaccharide and polysaccharide are digested
Kitty [74]

Answer:

polysaccharides from cells walls make up the fiber humans eat, while monosaccharides provide the sweetness in food. As humans eat, chewing breaks down polysaccharides into smaller particles that eventually, through digestion, yield up the simple monosaccharides that can pass into the bloodstream
