Answer: The volume of 1.2 moles of oxygen gas (O_2) at standard temperature and pressure (STP) is 26.9 Liters

Explanation:

Using ideal gas equation:

PV = nRT

V=\frac{nRT}{P}

At standard conditions of temperature and pressure:

P= pressure = 1 atm

T = temperature = 273 K

V= volume = ?

Given: n = no of moles = 1.2

R= gas constant =0.0821 Latm\molK

Putting in the values we get:

V=\frac{1.2\times 0.0821Latm/Kmol\times 273}{1atm}=26.9L

The volume of 1.2 moles of oxygen gas (O_2) at standard temperature and pressure (STP) is 26.9 Liters

Pavel [41]
In order for us to see an object that is non-luminous, it must reflect some of the light it receives from a luminous source, such as the Sun. Most of the objects we see, such as cars, clouds or even the Moon, are not luminous; it is just that they reflect sunlight

ehidna [41]

Answer:

5) donating H to a solution when they have been depleted and accepting H when they are in excess.

Explanation:

A buffer solution is a solution that undergoes a negligible change in pH in addition of moderate quantities of acid or alkali. In other words, a buffer solution is one that resists a change in pH on addition or dilution of small amounts of acids or alkalis.

So, from the given question:

Buffers are substances that help resist shifts in pH by donating H to a solution when they have been depleted and accepting H when they are in excess.
