owers, Maria makes 3 paper flowers. When they stop for the day, together they have made 45 paper flowers. On the second day, Maria and Emily both start at 1:15 P.M. and make paper flowers together at the same rates as the day before. They both work until there is a total of 100 flowers, including the flowers from the first day. At what time do Maria and Emily stop working on the second day?

Okay, this is a proportion question. they make 45 flowers every 1 hour and 25 minutes, or 45/85(85 is equivalent to 1 hour and 25 minutes). and they made 100 flowers at the same rate as the first day. so you need to know how long it took them to make 100 flowers, if they make 45 every 85 minutes. so 45 (flowers) to 85 (minutes) = 100 (flowers) to x (minutes). or 45/85=100/x. so when you work that out, I came to 189 minutes, which is 3 hours and 9 minutes, so they stopped at 4:24. But you could round and get 4:25. Hope I didn't confuse you!

Find the measure of angle AOB
klasskru [66]

Answer:

101°

Step-by-step explanation:

20 + 25 = 45

3+2 = 5

5x + 45 = 180

Subtract 45 from 45 and 180 (both sides)

5x = 135

Divide 5x and 135 (both sides) by 5, to finally get..

x=27

3 x 27 + 20 = 101

2 x 27 + 25 = 79

Angle B.O.C = 79

Angle A.O.B = 101

See the diagram attachment I made down below.

On a coordinate plane, a line goes through (negative 3, 2) and (2, negative 1). A point is at (3, 0). What is the equation of th
Vitek1552 [10]

Answer:            y=\frac{5}{3}x-5

Step-by-step explanation:

Alright, lets get started.

Two points are given as (-3,2) and (2,-1)

Slope will be : \frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}

Slope will be : \frac{-1-2}{2-(-3)}

Slope will be : \frac{-3}{5}

Our line is perpendicular to this slope, then,

m \times (\frac{-3}{5}) =-1

m=\frac{5}{3}

Line passing through the point (3,0) and having slope \frac{5}{3}, is given by :

y-y_{1}=m(x-x_{1} )

y-0=\frac{5}{3}(x-3)

y=\frac{5}{3}x-5    :  Answer

Hope it will help :)
