Answer:

The correct answer is option a.

Explanation:

Kinetic energy is the energy of the object due to its motion.

Mass of the stone = m = 0.55 kg

Velocity of the stone = v

Kinetic energy of the stone when it hits the ground = K.E = 9.8 Joules

Kinetic energy is given as:

K.E=\frac{1}{2}mv^2

9.8 J=\frac{1}{2}\times 0.55 kg\times v^2

v^2=\frac{9.8 J\times 2}{0.55 kg}

v=5.96 m/s \approx 6 m/s

6.3 m/s the stone's velocity when it hits the ground.

6.3 m/s ≈ 6 m/s

The closest option to our answer is option a.

When carrying out experiment in the laboratory to investigate physical changes, absolute measurement is usually not needed. For instance, one can just take a little sample of sodium chloride and dissolve it in water to demonstrate physical change. But for other experiments, such as the measurement of the catalase enzyme activity in a liver tissue. Careful measurements have to be made when preparing the chemicals that will be used in the experiment.

Please help asap!! How many groups did Mendeleev's original Periodic Table of Elements have?
devlian [24]
The columns, called groups, contain elements with similar chemical behaviours. Six groups have accepted names as well as assigned numbers: for example, group 17 elements are the halogens; and group 18 are the noble gases.
