The area of the circle is 28 ft square.

The area of the triangle is 30 ft square.

Step-by-step explanation:

1) The area of the circle= π*r^2

where π= 3.14(default value) and "r" is the radius of the circle.

Here, Radius of the circle(r)= 3 ft

Area = 3.14*3*3

        = 28.26 ft sq.= 28 ft sq(rounded to the nearest whole number)

2) The triangle has the base= 10 feet and height= 6 feet

The Area of the triangle= 1/2(b)(h)

where "b" is the base and "h" is the height of the triangle.

Substitute b=10 and h=6 ,

Area of triangle= 1/2(10 ft)(6 ft)= 60/2= 30 feet sq.

This table shows a value that represents an exponential function what is the average rate of change for this function for the in
aliya0001 [1]

Answer:

Option A is correct, i.e. 12.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given is the table of x&y relationship which represents an exponential function.

The average rate of change for a function can be found using the following formula:-

F_average = { f(b) - f(a) } / (b-a)

Given a = 3 and b = 5.

From the table, f(3) = 8 and f(5) = 32.

So, F_average = (32-8)/(5-3)

F_average = 24/2 = 12.

Hence, option A is correct, i.e. 12.

Ive been having this question for a while "what do you use first PEMDAS or Order of Operations". Well you might say it doesn't m
IgorLugansk [536]

Answer:

Order of Operations was aught at a younger age for those just grasping the idea of multiplication and division. Exposing PEMDAS at a young age would confuse them too much, hence the order of operation groups, addition/subtraction and multiplication/division. So for the second example problem, PEMDAS would be correct because it does involve you to use parentheses as well as exponents to solve for. Very easy to mix up between order of operations and PEMDAS, but just look at it as if Order of operations is a beginner level of PEMDAS.

A square patio has an area of 150 square feet. how long is each side of the patio to the nearest tenth?
Solnce55 [7]

length of each side of the patio to the nearest tenth is 12.247 ft.

<h3>How to find the length of each side of the patio to the nearest tenth?</h3>

given that A square patio has an area of 150 square feet.

we know that area of square is

{a}^{2}  = 150 \\ a =  \sqrt{150} \\  a = 12.247 \: ft

therefore, length of each side of the patio to the nearest tenth is 12.247 ft.
