\bf \textit{area of a circle}\\\\ A=\pi r^2~~ \begin{cases} r=radius\\[-0.5em] \hrulefill\\ A=300 \end{cases}\implies 300=\pi r^2\implies \cfrac{300}{\pi }=r^2 \implies  \sqrt{\cfrac{300}{\pi }}=\boxed{r}\\\\[-0.35em] \rule{34em}{0.25pt}\\\\ \textit{circumference of a circle}\\\\ C=2\pi r~\hspace{5em}C=2\pi \left(  \boxed{\sqrt{\frac{300}{\pi }}}\right)\implies C\approx 61.399602476789

So the formula for a circle is Pie * r^2

If you divide 300 by pie and then Square root it you would get your radius

And once you have the radius you would use the equation of 2pie * r to find the circumfrence.

Answer is 61.38

Hope this helps!

Danika has one apple that weighs 1/4 lb and another apple weighs 3/16 lb. Find the DIFFERENCE in their weights.
Mama L [17]

Answer: A.

Step-by-step explanation:

Danika has 1/4 lb apple and a 3/16 apple. We have to find a common denominator to be able to subtract them. We can do this by finding out 4 times how much equals 16. Which is 4. So you multiply both of the numbers by 4, (1x4 = 4 , 4x4 = 16) being 4/16. Now you just have to subtract the top numbers "4-3 = 1" 1/16.

Olivia flips a two-sided counter and then spins a spinner with six equal-size sections labeled 1 through 6. One side of the coun
Novay_Z [31]

Answer:

12

Step-by-step explanation:

A 2 - sided counter ; (red, yellow)

A spinner (1,2,3,4,5,6)

Number of trials = 80

P(red and number > 3) :

P(red) = 1/2 ;

P(number >3) : numbers greater Than 3 = (4, 5, 6)

Hence, P(number <3) = 3 /6 = 1/2

Theoretical probability = 1/2 *1/2 = 1/4

Expected number of outcomes :

1/4 * number of trials

1/4 * 80 = 20

Experimental outcome :

Relative frequency = number of outcomes / number of trials

Relative frequency = 2/5

Hence,

2/5 = number of outcomes / 80

Cross multiply :

160 = number of outcomes * 5

Number of outcomes = 160 /5 = 32

Actual outcomes = 32

Difference between actual and expected :

32 - 20 = 12
