Machines are systems that are built to carry out a certain function or work. These are classified as: Simple and Compound Machines.

Simple machines are simple tools used to accomplish a certain task. These include lever, pulley, inclined plane atc. In contrast compound machines are a combination of simple machines.

In the given scenario, a pulley system was used to carry the wood from the bottom to the tree top. This is a movable pulley system which is directly attached to the load and works by decreasing the input force but not the direction.

What mass of Ca(OH)2 is contained in 1500 mL of 0.0250 M Ca(OH)2 solution?
Paraphin [41]

We need moles of Ca(OH)_2

  • Molarity=Moles/Volume in L
  • 0.025=Moles/1.5
  • Moles=1.5(0.025)
  • Moles=0.0375mol

Molar mass of Ca(OH)_2=74g/mol

Now

  • Mass=Molar mass×Moles
  • Mass=0.0375×74
  • Mass=2.77g

Option C

How many grams of hydrogen gas will form in this equation?
FrozenT [24]
The Law of Conservation of Mass states that matter cannot be created nor destroyed. The first two reactants have a total of 23 grams so therefore the product must have 23 grams as well.
23 - 16 = 7
There would be 7 grams of hydrogen gas.

Balance the following chemical equation:<br> C2H60+02 → CO2 + H20
pantera1 [17]

Answer:

Explain: In order to balance the chemical equation, you need to make sure the number of atoms of each element on the reactant side is equal to the number of atoms of each element on the product side. In order make both sides equal, you will need to multiply the number of atoms in each element until both sides are equal.

Answer:

The median would be 6700

Explanation:

Arrange data values from lowest to highest value

The median is the data value in the middle of the set

.

Ordering a data set x1 ≤ x2 ≤ x3 ≤ ... ≤ xn from lowest to highest value, the median x˜ is the data point separating the upper half of the data values from the lower half.

If the size of the data set n is odd the median is the value at position p where

Formula for the median

p=n+12

x˜=xp

If n is even the median is the average of the values at positions p and p + 1 where

p=n2

x˜=xp+xp+12

If there are 2 data values in the middle the median is the mean of those 2 values.
