Answer:

There are several challenges that a person has to face when they are trying to lose weight.

First, they need to face their health condition. They will feel so tired at the beginning, that most of the people quit almost immediately, their system is not able to perform well, their energy system doesn't function properly and it will demand too much oxygen, which the cardiorespiratory system cannot provide.

Second, the need to face a huge hunger feeling. When people try to lose weight, and they begin to exercise, their body start to demand food, and there is where they need a proper diet, because they could eat more than before.

Third, people have to face new nutritional habits. This is also a problem, because basically they don't know how to eat well, and when they do, they can't help it, because it's about too many restrictions in carbs and fats, which were part of the normal old bad nutritional habits.

Fourth, one the biggest challenges is to maintain motivated. All challenges explained before make people to feel low motivation, and they quit, thinking that the goal is to far away. So, keeping a good mind is one of the most important challenges people have to face to keep going, because it's so much harder to lose weight, than gain it.

On the other hand, four steps to avoid obesity can be based on these 4 challenges above:

  • Know what you eat, read nutritional facts, and calculate what we are eating, this way we'll be able to regulate the food we eat.
  • Do regular exercise, a 20 minutes walk or jog every day, it's enough to maintain a healthy weight.
  • Eat six meals per day. After you have a proper nutritional diet, probably, the nutrition professional will recommend to eat 6 times per day, this way, the metabolism will constantly keep going, making it faster.
  • Lastly, replace conventional snacks, you can eat dry fruits, which will help to keep away anxiety.
