X^2 is x times x, and since x is 2, it's 2 times 2 which equals 4.

The answer is 4.

Hope this helped! If you have anymore questions or don't understand, please comment or DM me. :)

Did I do it right??? Please respond.
Sedaia [141]

Fraid not.  This time, you did it left.

The tool to use is "Vertical" angles are equal. (They don't add up to 180 degrees.)

3y + 120 = 5y + 100

(you should fill in the missing steps)

y = 10°

The upper/lower pair of vertical angles are both 150°.

.

2x = 6x - 60

(you should fill in the missing steps)

x = 15°

The left/right pair of vertical angles are both 30°.

It's any two angles NEXT TO each other that add up to 180°.

Notice here that (150° + 30°) = 180° .

Name two fractions between 4/8 and 4/9
kumpel [21]
4/9 is smaller than 4/8 so the other fractions should be 4/8.____

This is what I did:

I used the fractions 4/8.5 and 4/8.4

Now we need to get rid of the decimal point for each of those fractions.

Find out what number you need to multiply the denominator so it is a whole number, not a decimal.

Take that number and multiply it by both numerator and denominator.

8.5 x 2 = 17
4/8.5 = (4*2)/(8.5*2) = 8/17 (This is your  first fraction)

8.4 x 5 = 42
4/8.4 = (4*5)/(8.4*5) = 20/42 (This is your second fraction.
