\huge{ \underline{ \underline{ \green{ \bf{Answer:}}}}}

The female silk moth lays <u>eggs</u>. When the eggs hatch a tiny Caterpillar comes out, This is the <u>Silkworm or Larva.</u> The silkworm feeds on leaves and grass. When it is ready to enter the next stage in its lifecycle, it first weaves a net around itself. It then secrets a fibre made up of proteins which hardens on exposure to air. This is the <u>Silk fibre</u>. It covers itself completely with this fibre to form a <u>cocoon</u> at this stage the Larva is called <u>Pupa</u><u>.</u> The Pupa grows and changes inside the cocoon. A few weeks later the cocoon opens and an adult moth come out.

  • The Silk yarn is obtained from the cocoon of the silkworm. The breeding and management of silkworms is known as <u>Sericulture</u><u>.</u>

A 15.4 kg block is dragged over a rough, horizontal surface by a constant force of 182 N acting at an angle of 24◦ above the hor
Dima020 [189]

Answer:

Explanation:

Considering Work done by friction is asked

Given

mass of block m=15.4\ kg

force F=182\ N

inclination \theta =24^{\circ}

block is displaced by s=57.6\ m

coefficient of kinetic friction \mu _k=0.135

Friction force F_r=\mu _kN

Normal reaction N=mg-F\sin \theta =15.4\times 9.8-182\sin (24)

N=76.9\ N

Friction Force F_r=0.135\times 76.9=10.38\ N

Work done by friction force

W=f_r\cdot s

W=10.38\times 57.6=597.92\ N

Which type of stress causes deformation that leads to earthquakes at converging plate boundaries?
ki77a [65]
The answer is <em>Compressional Stress
</em>

In geology, stress<span> is the force per unit area that is placed on a rock. ... This is called confining </span>stress<span>. Compression squeezes rocks together, </span>causing<span> rocks to fold or fracture (break). Compression is the most common </span>stress<span> at </span>convergent plate boundaries<span>.

I hope this helped!! Have a great day :D</span>

A mountaintop is a height y above the level ground. A woman measures the angle of elevation of the mountaintop to be θ when she
valentina_108 [34]
Let t = Theta and p = Phi
Tan t = y/x    Then x =y/Tant.
Tant = y/(x-d)  x-d = y/Tanp
y/Tant  - d = y/Tanp
y -d*Tanr = y*Tant/Tanp
y-y*Tant/Tanp  =  d*Tanr
y(1 - Tanr/Tanp = d*Tant

y = d*Tant/(1-Tant/Tanp)
