That statement is "false" since the cause is still sort of unknown. Scientists are still working on figuring out why the immune system incorrectly damages and destroys the insulin-producing beta cells from the pancreas, which is how the type 1 diabetes is developed. However, muted genes are surely not a cause.

Let me know if you need further info. :)

How might low levels of iron affect the bloods ability to transport oxygen
kirill115 [55]
The red blood cells have proteins, hemoglobin and myoglobin, that are responsible for the storage of oxygen from the lungs and transporting it through the body. When the hemoglobin and myoglobin are low, it is because the iron levels are low. When this occurs, the blood, which carries the oxygen, reduces the ability to process its work.  When this occurs, anemia, a condition that may cause chest pain, tiredness, and headaches.

In which of the following countries do newborns have the lowest chance of survival?
daser333 [38]

Answer:

The correct answer is d. Central African Republic

Explanation:

A data from 1990 to 2016 shows that the Central African Republic is the second country after Pakistan where the infant mortality rate is highest. In research it is found that at least half of all the deaths were of children.

33% of death were seen in children who were below the age of five. Most of the deaths in children were seen in the rainy season because of malaria and fever.

The main reason for the higher number of newborns death is the absence of easily available health care and good medical facilities. Therefore the correct answer is d.
