What requirement must a force acting on a object satisfy in order for the object to undergo simple harmonic motion?
viktelen [127]

Answer:

Simple harmonic motion is the movement of a body or an object to and from an equilibrium position. In a simple harmonic motion, the maximum displacement (also called the amplitude) on one side of the equilibrium position is equal to the maximum displacement.

The force acting on an object must satisfy Hooke's law for the object to undergo simple harmonic motion. The law states that the force must be directed always towards the equilibrium position and also directly proportional to the distance from this position.

Most oxygen in our atmosphere _____. has a single oxygen atom combines with carbon has two oxygen atoms has three oxygen atoms
andrew-mc [135]

Answer:

Two oxygen atoms

Explanation:

The majority of the oxygen in the air in our atmosphere consists of molecular oxygen (O_2), which consists of 2 atoms of oxygen, since free oxygen mainly form covalent bonds with other atoms of oxygen.

A small fraction of the oxygen, however, in the ozone form, which consists of 3 atoms of oxygen bond together (O_3).

Describe the atomic structure of hydrogen atom.
-Dominant- [34]

Answer and Explanation:

The hydrogen atom is an atom of hydrogen element.Hydrogen atoms contain one proton which has positive charge and one electron which has negative charge , so due to positive and negative charge present in the hydrogen atom its becomes neutral atom.In whole universe the hydrogen atom is found in most abundant. Electron and nucleus of the hydrogen atom is bound together with the help of coulomb force.

A car traveling at a speed of 30 m/s encounters an emergency and comes to a complete
Natasha2012 [34]

Answer:

Explanation:

Use the one-dimensional equation

v_f=v_0+at which says that the final velocity of an object is equal to the object's initial velocity plus its acceleration times time. We are looking for time. That means the equation looks like this:

0 = 30 + (-4)t and

-30 = -4t so

t = 7.5 sec
