Answer:

The greenhouse effect is the process by which radiation from a planet's atmosphere warms the planet's surface to a temperature above what it would be without this atmosphere. Radiatively active gases in a planet's atmosphere radiate energy in all directions.

How many liters of oxygen are required to react completely with 1.2 liters of hydrogen to form water? 2H2(g) + O2(g) → 2H2(g)
Ira Lisetskai [31]

Answer:

\boxed{\text{0.60 L}}

Explanation:

We can use Gay-Lussac's Law of Combining Volumes to solve this problem.

Gases at the same temperature and pressure react in the same ratios as their coefficients in the balanced equation.

1. Write the chemical equation.

Ratio: 2 L     1 L

           2H₂ + O₂ → 2H₂O

V/L:   1.2

2. Calculate the volume of O₂.

According to Gay-Lussac, 1 L of O₂ forms from 2 L of H₂.

Then, the conversion factor is (1 L O₂/2 L H₂).

\text{Volume of O}_{2} = \text{1.20 L H}_{2}\times \dfrac{\text{1 L O}_{2}}{\text{2 L H}_{2}} = \textbf{0.60 L O}_{2}\\\\\text{You need }\boxed{\textbf{0.60 L of O}_{2}}

The green light emitted by a stoplight has a wavelength of 525 nm. What is the frequency of this photon? (c = 3.00 × 10⁸ m/s).
Reil [10]

The frequency of this photon is 5.94 x 10^{14} H_{Z}.

Solution:

The speed of light has a value of approximately <u>3.00×108 m/s</u>

The wavelength should have units of meters.

The frequency should have units of Hz or s−1. Hz is hertz or reciprocal seconds.

We know the value of the speed of light and we are given the wavelength. All we have to do is rearrange the equation to solve for the frequency:

<u>v = c/λ</u>

= 3.00×10^{8} m/s/505×10^{-9} m

= 5.94X10^{14}s-1

= <u>5.94X</u>10^{14}<u> Hz</u>

<u />

Frequency describes the number of waves passing through a particular location at a particular time. A class interval frequency is the number of observations that occur in a particular predefined interval. So, for example, if 20 of her ages 5-9 appear in the survey's data, the interval 5-9 has a frequency of 20. The class interval endpoints are the lowest and highest possible values of the variable.

Can someone help me with my science it’s super hard :(
Lunna [17]

Answer: here is a description of what they look like since I cannot see the diagram.

Mitochondria- wavy line

Ribosomes- little dots

Chromosome- X

Nucleus- Circle with bite taken out of it

Endoplasm- Bubble

Nuclear membrane- Outer layer/bubble

Golgi-wavy circle thing

Vacuole- Bigger circle (but not nucleus)

Cytoplasm- its the jelly on the inside

Cell wall- only in plant cells, looks like a box

Cell membrane- The outmost part of the animal cell, the barrier.

I sure hope this helps!!!
