You basically are looking for the equation in slope intercept form. First you know that the y intercept is 9 because you have the pair (0,9). Next you need to find the slope which is what you will multiply all the x values by. To do this you do y2-y1/x2-x1. I chose the points (0,9) and (1,17). You do 17-9/1-0. This gives you the slope which is 8. Now that you have the equation you know that you multiply x by 8 then add 9. To check that the equation is accurate you plug in the x and y values and see if they equal each other.
