Let x represent any year after the year that Attila died.

Attila the Hun died in the year A.D 453. Because x represents the year that goes beyond the year of Attila's death, it cannot be equal to 453. It must be more than 453.

The inequality will be:

x > 453

where the value of x will be greater than 453.

Answer with explanation:

x= Representation of any year

A year 453 AD or BC is given.

It is not mentioned in which year Attila was Born or Birth year.

So,Attila can die in the year 453  or after that year also.

⇒ So,if we write the statement in terms of Inequality it will be that is the year in which Attila may die:

    x ≥ 453

Jorge’s monthly bill from his Internet service provider was $25. The service provider charges a base rate of $15 per month plus
Hatshy [7]

Answer:

Jorge was charged for 10 hours that month

Step-by-step explanation:

  Given : Jorge’s monthly bill from his Internet service provider was $25.

Also given :  The service provider charges a base rate of $15 per month plus $1 for each hour that the service is used

We have to find the number of hours that Jorge was charged for that month.

Let the number of hour be x,

Total bill =  base rate + 1 (number of hours used)

Total bill =  base rate + 1(x)

Substitute the values, we get,

⇒ 25 = 15 + 1 (x)

Solving we get,

⇒ 25 - 15 = x

10 = x

Thus, Jorge was charged for 10 hours that month

What is the equation of the line that is parallel to y=6x−1 and passes through the point (−3,4)?
BabaBlast [244]

Answer: y = 6x + 22

Step-by-step explanation:

Parallel lines have same slope. So, a line parallel to y = 6x − 1 is y = 6x + c.

Now to find c, put (-3,4) to this equation since the line passes through the point.

4 = 6 × -3 + c

4 = -18 + c

4 + 18 = c

c = 22

So, equation is y = 6x + 22
