Slope intercept form formula: y=mx+b
the m is your slope
the b is your y intercept (where your line passes through the y axis)
so you’re gonna use rise over run. you are gonna count from (0,2) to (3,3)
following the grid you’ll go up one from (0,2) and go over two to get to (3,3)
so that number would be 1 over 2 because u went up one and over two.
so your slope is 1 over 2
next you’ll find your y intercept
so you’ll find where the line passes through in the y axis and your done!
so your final equation is y=1/2x+2

Determine whether the equation is always sometimes or never true 2(5x+4)=10x+6
Usimov [2.4K]
This equation is NEVER true. Let's solve the equations algebraically by applying the Distributive Property of Multiplication and transposing the terms across the equality sign. The solution is as follows:

2(5x+4)=10x+6
10x + 8 = 10x + 6
10x - 10x = 6 - 8
0 = -2

Therefore, it is not true.
