How do boys' brains differ from girls?

Hi!

The most appropriate answer would be

Boy's brains are larger than girl's brain.

Studies have shown that generally the brain of males tend to have a higher volume than that of females, with men having about 14 regions in higher volume as compared to females having 10 regions with higher volume than males. The regions in males having higher volume included the hippocampus, thalamus and amygdala. The female brain was observed to have thicker cortices.

Although, it is still hard to associate to a gender taking only volume and the thickness of the cortices in account as the brains have more similarities than differences with regard to their structure.

Hope this helps!

What is the relation between thrombosis and the anticoagulants
Semmy [17]

Answer:

Explanation:

Advantages of Anticoagulant Therapy

Anticoagulant therapy remains the mainstay of medical therapy for deep venous thrombosis (DVT) because it is non-invasive, it treats most patients (approximately 90%) with no immediate demonstrable physical sequelae of DVT, it has a low risk of complications, and its outcome data demonstrates an improvement in morbidity and mortality. Meta-analyses of randomized trials of unfractionated heparin (UFH) and low-molecular-weight heparin (LMWH) have shown that they are similar, with a 4% risk of recurrent DVT, a 2% risk of pulmonary embolism (PE), and a 3% risk of major bleeding.
