Answer 1:

Total pieces left with Jamie  = 618

Step-by-step explanation:

Given in the question is that Jamies has eight hundred and seventy-five building pieces. Out of that, he gave two hundred and fifty-seven pieces to his friend. Though after giving some pieces to his friend he bought two hundred and twenty-nine helicopters. Now to calculate the total number of pieces left with Jamie we need to minus the given from the obtained building pieces.

Total number of building pieces he has = 875

Number of castle pieces that he gave to a friend = - 257

Total pieces left with Jamie  = 618

Answer 2:

As asked, yes it does make sense that the number of building pieces left with Jamie is six hundred and eighteen. To find a number of building pieces that he has left we had subtracted the total number of buildings to the number of castles gave equal the to a number of pieces left. Therefore, we put the values of total building pieces equal to 875,  pieces of castle equal to 257  and finally we get the number of pieces left of building a puzzle that is 618. This proof the solution of the question and makes perfect sense for the reasoning.

Given $a \equiv 1 \pmod{7}$, $b \equiv 2 \pmod{7}$, and $c \equiv 6 \pmod{7}$, what is the remainder when $a^{81} b^{91} c^{27}$
Blizzard [7]
\begin{cases}a\equiv1\pmod7\\b\equiv2\pmod7\\c\equiv6\pmod7\end{cases}

a^{81}\equiv1^{81}\equiv1\pmod7

b^{91}\equiv2^{91}\pmod7

2^{91}\equiv(2^3)^{30}\times2^1\equiv8^{30}\times2\pmod7
8\equiv1\pmod7
2\equiv2\pmod7
\implies2^{91}\equiv1^{30}\times2\equiv2\pmod7

c^{27}\equiv6^{27}\pmod7

6^{27}\equiv(-1)^{27}\equiv-1\equiv6\pmod7

\implies a^{81}b^{91}c^{27}\equiv1\times2\times6\equiv12\equiv5\pmod7

Pls answer a and b I will give brainliest answer
Natali5045456 [20]

Answer:

a. True, b. y = (-1/2)x + 8

Step-by-step explanation:

Because the graph is a straight line, that means that the graph is in fact proportional. For the equation, take the form y = mx+b. Plug in the slope, which is -1/2, and the y-intercept, which is 8, which would give you the equation y = (-1/2)x + 8.

Select the correct answer.
miv72 [106K]

Given:

A function g has the factors (x - 7) and (x + 6).

To find:

The zeros of the function g.

Solution:

We know that if (x-a) is a factor of a function then x=a is a zero of that function because

x-a=0

x=a

It is given that the function g has the factors (x - 7) and (x + 6).

x-7=0

x=7

Similarly,

x+6=0

x=-6

Therefore, -6 and 7 are two zeros of the function g.

Hence the correct option is B.
