Sodium reacts explosively with water. Which other element would you expect to react similarly with water? helium (He) cesium (Cs
Korvikt [17]
Helium and Xenon are both noble gases. Noble gases are chemically inert. This mean they are not capable of reacting to anything at natural conditions. Carbon on the other hand is not explosive when it is to react with water. Cesium on the other hand is of the same group as sodium. These elements are known to be explosive when reacted to water. The intensity actually increases when we go down a row.

  • Air temperature and air pressure both decrease

The air pressure is low at higher altitudes. The pressure decreases up the higher altitudes. Same with temperature, as we go up the higher altitudes the temperature decreases as molecules becomes more far apart.

altitude ↑     ||     pressure ↓

What is the concentration of the base (KOH) in the following titration, given the data below?
Anettt [7]
To calculate the concentration of the base based on the titration, the concept used is the equal of number of equivalence of the acid used to that of the base. From this,
                                 Na x Va = Nb x Vb
For HBr and KOH, molarity is equal to normality. Substituting the known values,
          (0.75 M) x (22.6 mL - 0 mL) = Nb x (37.5 mL - 0.5 mL)
                                         Nb = 0.46 N
                                          Mb = 0.46 M
Thus, the concentration of the base is approximately 0.46 M.
