Answer:

Fe2+ atom has a larger size than Fe3+.

Explanation:

The electron transport chain is important for the production of the ATP molecule. The oxygen molecule acts as the final electron acceptor in the electron transport chain.

The size of the cation is always small as compared with the parental atoms. Two electrons are removed from Fe2+ and three electrons are removed from  Fe3+. This removal of electron increases the attraction force between the electron of the outermost shell and the nucleus and decreases the repulsion force between the electrons and thus decreases in size.

A scientist believes that she has found a new life form. Which of the following conditions is not considered essential in determ
WARRIOR [948]

Answer:

Answer is C, the creature's body is bilaterally symmetrical.

Explanation:

Note that , when an organism is said to be bilaterally symmetrical, it means that , the right side and the left side of the body plan are just like mirror image of each other, when cut or divided along a plane.

In this case, since the scientist just found a new life form, the type of symmetry possess by the organism is never to be considered essential, because if it were to be considered, it will mean the new organism will be terminated or killed to confirm the symmetry, which has automatically negate the process of determining whether the new life form is alive.

What is the only reasonable and ethical way to achieve zero population growth
dybincka [34]

Answer:

By not having more offspring.

Explanation:

There are many ways of reaching a zero population growth, but some of them are 0% ethical. But, if the population stops having offspring, there won't be a population growth, instead, the population will decrease in number.

  • In 2017 the country with the biggest population was China, and the country with the biggest population growth in that same year was South Sudan, with a 3,83% population growth, according to statista and IndexMundi
  • Currently, in 2019, China still is the country with the biggest population, and, as for the highest population growth this year, we will only be able to say with 100% certainty when the year ends.

Hope it helped,
