Answer:

A. self-handicapping

Explanation:

In psychology, the term self-handicap refers to an strategy that people use in order to enhance the opportunity to attribute failure to external situations and not take responsibility for it. This strategy is used in order to protect our self-esteem (since we can attribute failure to external factors and not to our own abilities).

In this example, before an exam Marc tells you that he's tired because he partied the night before. We can see that, <u>by saying this, if he gets a bad grade, he can attribute it to the fact that he was tired because of the party </u>(which would be an external situation and therefore he won't attribute it to his lack of knowledge which would be an internal factor). Therefore, Marc is engaging in self-handicapping.

[WILL MARK BRAINLIEST] What would be one benefit and one drawback to wealth equality (everyone having equal wealth)? 5+ Sentence
Tcecarenko [31]

Answer:

Plenty of people lose money, grow it only modestly, or indeed give it away. To achieve top 1 percent status you need to exercise sound judgement and stewardship. This involves placing capital where it will grow – with consequent if unintended benefits for society (tax receipts, jobs, innovation – the sort of positive “externalities” the Left often overlooks).

To talk about the “one percenters” getting richer over time is near meaningless: it is not the same set of people under analysis.

In addition, holders of considerable wealth include pension funds, insurance companies, charities and trusts. Their enrichment is welcome.

Inequality of income and wealth is a driver of growth. If the young, or investors, see people making large profits in app design, or green technologies, they will shift their careers or investments to those sectors. Income disparities are part of the price system and they are a form of free speech

Explanation:

The tax code

George Osborne and Gordon Brown are the chief architects of a tax code that is now the longest in the world – in excess of 10m words and 21,000 pages. (Too long by about 20,500 pages, I’d say). The few have the resources to find the loopholes, of which there are many, and exploit them. The many don’t, so end up paying more on a proportional basis. Do we really need 12.5 times the number of words in the Bible to explain how much tax people should pay?

Bank bailouts

If I manage my business imprudently, I go bust. Why should banking get special favour? It’s an example of one rule for some, another for the many.

Alicia was adopted and is not biologically related to anyone in her family. Jee lives with her two mothers who are married. Tom
jolli1 [7]

Answer:

These are referred to as the adults who are intimately responsible for the care and rearing of children.

Explanation:

Proprietarianism is a term in which both the parents are responsible for the children's care and rearing. Both parents are responsible and children are the property of both the parents. One of the philosophers argues that children are the property of parents hence this is the ground of the parents for the rights. This is the parents' responsibility that they positively direct their children because they are who bring the children in the world. Parents are the source who biologically transmit their genetics to their children so they keep on the same thing further next generation.
