The correct answer is

comets

Comets, in fact, follow a very elliptical orbit around the Sun. In fact, they have the most elliptical orbit of all astronomical objects. According to Kepler's second law, the velocity of an object orbiting the Sun depends on its distance from the Sun: the closer it is to the Sun, the faster it moves, and the further it is, the slower it moves. Due to their very elliptical orbit, the distance of the comets from the Sun change a lot, therefore they experience the most drastic change in velocity (more specifically, they move very fast as they approach the Sun, while they move very slow when they are very far from the Sun).

zloy xaker [14]

Given data:

* The mass of the book is 2 kg.

* The initial height of the book is 0.78 m.

* The final height of the book is 2.1 m.

Solution:

(A). The work done by the gravity on the book is,

W=mg(h_f-h_i)

where m is the mass, g is the acceleration due to gravity, h_i is the initial height and h_f is the final height,

The work is done in moving the object in upward direction where as the gravitational force is acting in the down ward direction. Thus, the value g (acceleration due to gravity) is taken as negative in this case.

Substituting the known values,

\begin{gathered} W=2\times(-9.8)\times(2.1-0.78) \\ W=-19.6\times1.32 \\ W=-25.9\text{ J} \end{gathered}

Thus, the work done by the gravitational force is -25.9 J.

(B). The work done by the hand on the moving the book is,

\begin{gathered} W_1=-W \\ =25.9\text{ J} \end{gathered}

Thus, the work done by the hand on the book is 25.9 J.

In the following reaction, which substance is the precipitate?(NH4)2SO4(aq) + Ba(NO3)2(aq) BaSO4(s) + 2NH4NO3(aq
Delvig [45]
The precipitate is the barium sulfate, or 3) BaSO4. This is because it is a solid (as seen by the (s)), unlike the other aqueous product. The fact that it is a solid means that it is insoluble in water and therefore a precipitate.

Hope this helps!
