You stop for a cappuccino at a coffee shop and notice that the tiny white bubbles of steamed milk remain on the surface of the c

offee. These air-filled bubbles stay where they are, rather than descending into the coffee or rising into the air, because they are:
A. more dense than the coffee but less dense than the air above thecoffee.

B. thicker than the coffee but less thick than the air above thecoffee.

C. less dense than the coffee but more dense than the air above thecoffee.

D. lighter than the cup of coffee but heavier than the column ofair above the coffee.

A common black ant discovers a piece of bread 85 cm east of the entrance of her nest. If the ant carries 10 bits of bread back t
babunello [35]

Answer:

19 x 85 = 1,615 for distance. Displacement is 0

Explanation:

The total distance traveled by the ant in 9 round trips and one 1/2 trip, or 19 one bash way trips: 19 x 85cm = 1615cm. The displacement of the ant after the tenth trip is 0 cm ( the displacement origin is the nest.)

A rocket moves upward, starting from rest with an acceleration of 25.4 m/s^2 for 3.39 s. It runs out of fuel at the end of the 3
kolbaska11 [484]

Explanation:

Initial speed of the rocket, u = 0

Acceleration of the rocket, a=25.4\ m/s^2

Time taken, t = 3.39 s

Let v is the final velocity of the rocket when it runs out of fuels. Using the equation of kinematics as :

v=u+at

v=25.4\times 3.39=86.10\ m/s

Let x is the initial position of the rocket. Using third equation of kinematics as :

v^2=u^2+2ax_o

x_o=\dfrac{v^2}{2a}

x_o=\dfrac{86.10^2}{2\times 25.4}=145.92\ m

Let x_o is the position at the maximum height. Again using equation of motion as :

v^2-u^2=2a(x-x_o)

Now a=-g and v and u will interchange

u^2=2g(x-x_o)

x=x_o+\dfrac{u^2}{2g}

x=145.92+\dfrac{(86.10)^2}{2\times 9.8}

x = 524.14 meters

Hence, this is the required solution.

You will now examine the relationship between the number of field lines through a surface and the tangle betwcen A and E) angle
nikitadnepr [17]

Answer:

a. cosθ b. E.A

Explanation:

a.The electric flux, Φ passing through a given area is directly proportional to the number of electric field , E, the area it passes through A and the cosine of the angle between E and A. So, if we have a surface, S of surface area A and an area vector dA normal to the surface S and electric field lines of field strength E passing through it, the component of the electric field in the direction of the area vector produces the electric flux through the area. If θ the angle between the electric field E and the area vector dA is zero ,that is θ = 0, the flux through the area is maximum. If  θ = 90 (perpendicular) the flux is zero. If θ = 180 the flux is negative. Also, as A or E increase or decrease, the electric flux increases or decreases respectively. From our trigonometric functions, we know that 0 ≤ cos θ ≤ 1 for  90 ≤ θ ≤ 0 and -1 ≤ cos θ ≤ 0 for 180 ≤ θ ≤ 90. Since these satisfy the limiting conditions for the values of our electric flux, then cos θ is the required trigonometric function. In the attachment, there is a graph which shows the relationship between electric flux and the angle between the electric field lines and the area. It is a cosine function

b. From above, we have established that our electric flux, Ф = EAcosθ. Since this is the expression for the dot product of two vectors E and A where E is the number of electric field lines passing through the surface and A is the area of the surface and θ the angle between them, we write the electric flux as Ф = E.A

Determina el volumen de 450 g de alcohol
Rufina [12.5K]

Luego de utilizar la fórmula del volumen de un líquido encontramos que si el acohol tiene 450 gramos entonces su volumen es de

La fórmula del volumen de la densidad de un líquido es la siguiente:

Densidad= Masa / Volumen

Volumen =Masa / Densidad

Es conocido que la densidad del alcohol es 789 kg/m³, y como sabemos por dato que tiene 450gr el siguiente paso es la sustitución:

Volumen=0.45/ 789

Volumen = 0,00057 m³
