Answer:

An oblique cut is most appropriate when a front/face of an object or body is to be examined

Explanation:

In an autopsy, An oblique cut is done by slicing a body or any part of it along or in any plane which is neither parallel to the longitudinal axis nor it intersects at right angle. Basically, the cut is neither vertical (longitudinal)  nor horizontal (transverse).

An oblique cut improves the quality of diagnostic study  and also produce images of good quality (have better exposure to internal minute details). It put more focus on the  face or front of an object

Hence, an oblique cut is most appropriate when a front/face of an object or body is to be examined

Oblique signifies anything that is not at right angle to something. So, an oblique cut is one, which is not perpendicular to the side that it intersects.

In anatomy, an oblique cut refers to a diagonal cross-section achieved by slicing the part of the body or the anatomic composition, in any plane, which does not intersect it at a right angle, or does not parallel the longitudinal axis, that is, neither transverse (horizontal) nor longitudinal (vertical).

Which organism was used to re-evaluate its position in
marta [7]

Answer:

Fungi

Explanation:

Fungi is a eukaryotic organism that is re-evaluating its position in  the tree of life.

Fungi are closely related to the animal kingdom in comparison to the plant kingdom. Because of the presence of the chitin in their cell walls, fungi is different from plant, bacteria, and protists. But fungi have cell wall while animal cells do not contain cell wall, so not classified as animals.

So, fungi is re-evaluating its position in  the tree of life and in present there is a individual kingdom for fungi.

Α-adrenergic receptors have a higher affinity for norepinephrine than for epinephrine. Β-adrenergic receptors have a higher affi
Molodets [167]

Answer:

Receptors are highly specific and only have high affinity for those ligands for whom they are specific.

Explanation:

Receptors are proteins that receive a stimulus or bind a ligand and mediate effects via receptor effector system.

Receptors are macromolecules that are highly specific.

The affinity between the ligand and the receptors is determind by the disassociation constant Kd.

The receptors produce maximun effect when an appropriate specific stimulus is present.

Different recptors types are present for different ligands.

For example, muscrinic receptors are specific for acetycholine and adrenergic receptors are specific for adrenaline/nor adrenaline.

It is important to know the specificity so that the body remains in a state of balance.
