Ok soo if the 10 items avg $3.60 each then your total for the ten items was $36. if we know that the cost of 8 items is $30 then there is 6 dollars left. nd if we no that the remaining 2 are the same price then each should be $3

Belinda bought a car for 10% off the $21,957.68 sticker price. The sales tax was 6.5% of the sale price. She had to pay a $528.0
babymother [125]

Answer:

$21,574.43

Step-by-step explanation:

To start off, we need to take 10% off of the starting price of $21,957.68. We can do that by multiplying that number by 0.10. The work is shown below...

(21,957.68) x (0.10) = 2,195.77

Now we can take the number 2,195.77 and subtract that from our starting price.

21,957.68 - 2,195.77 = 19,761.91 (this is our price after the 10% sale)

Next, we need to add on the sales tax. We simply multiply 19,761.91 by the decimal version of 6.5% which is 0.065.

(19,761.91) x (0.065) = 1,284.52

Now we add that number to 19,761.91

19,761.91 + 1,284.52 = 21,046.43

Since we have our current cost after sales tax, we now just need to add the $528 license fee...

21,046.43 + 528 = $21,574.43

Solve and graph the absolute value inequality: |2x + 4| > 8
neonofarm [45]

Answer:

C

Step-by-step explanation:

To get rid of the absolute value bars you have to get two different equations which would be 2x+4>-8 AND 2x+4>8. Pay attention to the signs, if there is greater than or equal to then it would have a line underneath the sign, which neither of the equations should have since you haven't moved a negative. solve normally and you'll get -6 blank circle and 2 blank circle.

Given the values of the linear functions f (x) and g(x) in the tables, where is (f – g)(x) positive?
LuckyWell [14K]

From the tables, and definitions of functions, it is found that the function (f - g)(x) is positive in the interval (–∞, –2).

--------------------

  • The function (f - g)(x) is given by: (f - g)(x) = f(x) - g(x)
  • Thus, it will be positive if: f(x) > g(x)
  • Looking at the table, and considering that it is a linear function, we have that f(x) > g(x) if x < -2.
  • Thus, (f - g)(x) is positive in the interval (–∞, –2).
