Answer: 180 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

You  calculate the surface area of the prism as following:

1- The surface area of both right triangles:

SA_{t}=2(\frac{b*h}={2}= 2(\frac{12cm*5cm}{2})=60cm^{2}

(The sum of the surface area of both triangles).

2- The surface area of the rectangles:

SA_1=5cm*4cm=20cm^{2}\\SA_2=4cm*13cm=52cm^{2}\\SA_3=12cm*4cm=48cm^{2}

3. Add all the areas.

The result is:

SA=60cm^{2}+20cm^{2}+52cm^{2}+48cm^{2}=180cm^{2}

I don’t get this T-chart
Sidana [21]

Yes. It is most likely a proportional relationship.

Divide $55 by 6(hr)

He gets $9.16 an hour, $18.32 for 2 hours, and so on...

Just multiply 9.16 by how many hours you want

Usimov [2.4K]

Answer:

The correct option is;

C. 52.2 × 4.4 × 2 + 47.8 × 4.4 × 2

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of the square frame is the area of the inner square subtracted from the area of the outer square

Which gives;

52.2² - 47.8² = 440

Therefore;

Option A. 52.2² - 47.8² is a correct way of finding the area of the square frame

Option B. 2 × ((52.2×2.2) + (47.8×2.2)) = 440, is  a correct way of finding the area of the square frame

Option C. 52.2 × 4.4 × 2 + 47.8 × 4.4 × 2 = 880, is not a correct way of finding the area of the square frame

The error is the thickness is 2.2 not 4.4

Option D. 100×(52.2 - 47.8) = (52.2 + 47.8) × (52.2 - 47.8) = 52.2² - 47.8² = 440,  is  a correct way of finding the area of the square frame
