No, if you took 3/4 and multiplied it by 2 you would get 6/8 and 6/8 does not equal 4/8.

Jet001 [13]

Answer:  Choice C

Closed filled in circle at -3; shading to the right.

========================================================

Explanation:

Follow the steps shown below to isolate x. Note that the inequality sign flips when we divide both sides by a negative number.

-4x+8 \le 20\\\\-4x \le 20-8\\\\-4x \le 12\\\\x \ge 12/(-4)\\\\x \ge -3\\\\

Here's another way to isolate x

-4x+8 \le 20\\\\8 \le 20+4x\\\\4x+20 \ge 8\\\\4x \ge 8-20\\\\4x \ge -12\\\\x \ge -12/4\\\\x \ge -3\\\\

The inequality sign flip happens much earlier when we go from the format of A \le B to B \ge A  (in step 3)

The graph of this will have a closed filled in circle at -3, then shading to the right to describe all values -3 or larger.

This is why we go for choice C.

What is 449/60 as a mixed number
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]
\dfrac{449}{60}=\dfrac{300+120+29}{60}=\dfrac{300}{60}+\dfrac{120}{60}+\dfrac{29}{60}\\\\=5+2+\dfrac{29}{60}=\boxed{7\dfrac{29}{60}}
