Squeezing of a balloon is a one way to burst it..why?

Chemistry

When you squeeze a balloon you re putting all of the air to the top or the bottom of the balloon so at some point it will overflow of so much air that it will pop. It is kind of like when we hold our breath for to long, instead of popping, we pass out. Because we need air and so does the balloon. If the balloon was meant to be squeezed, it would've been all mushy so you can squeeze it and it would be like goo. So if you don't wanna pop your balloon, then don't squeeze it.

Equation is balanced already
mojhsa [17]

Answer:

1.) 13 g C₄H₁₀

2.) 41 g CO₂

Explanation:

To find the mass of propane (C₄H₁₀) and carbon dioxide (CO₂), you need to (1) convert mass O₂ to moles O₂ (via molar mass), then (2) convert moles O₂ to moles C₄H₁₀/CO₂ (via mole-to-mole ratio from equation coefficients), and then (3) convert moles C₄H₁₀/CO₂ to mass C₄H₁₀/CO₂ (via molar mass). It is important to arrange the ratios in a way that allows for the cancellation of units. The final answers should have 2 sig figs to match the sig figs of the given value.

Molar Mass (C₄H₁₀): 4(12.011 g/mol) + 10(1.008 g/mol)

Molar Mass (C₄H₁₀): 58.124 g/mol

Molar Mass (CO₂): 12.011 g/mol + 2(15.998 g/mol)

Molar Mass (CO₂): 44.007 g/mol

Molar Mass (O₂): 2(15.998 g/mol)

Molar Mass (O₂): 31.996 g/mol

2 C₄H₁₀ + 13 O₂ ----> 8 CO₂ + 10 H₂O

 48 g O₂             1 mole             2 moles C₄H₁₀            58.124 g
---------------  x  -----------------  x  -------------------------- x  ------------------  =
                         31.996 g              13 moles O₂               1 mole

=  13 g C₄H₁₀

 48 g O₂             1 mole               8 moles CO₂            44.007 g
---------------  x  -----------------  x  -------------------------- x  ------------------  =
                         31.996 g              13 moles O₂               1 mole

=  41 g CO₂

When 2.56 g of a compound containing only carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen is burned completely, 4.89 g of CO2 and 3.00 g of h2o are
victus00 [196]

Answer:

The empirical formula is CH3O2

Explanation:

From The question, number of moles of CO2= 4.89/44=0.111mol

Number of moles of H2O=3/18= 0.1667moles

Since 1mole of CO2 contains 1mole of carbon and 2 moles of O2,

Implies that there 0.111 moles of C and 0.222moles of O2

Similarly also 0.1667moles of water contains 2 moles of H2 hence = 0.333 moles of H2

Dividing by smallest number= 0.111mol

For C = 0.111/0.111= 1

For H = 0.333/ 0.111= 3

For O = 0.222/0.111= 2

Hence the empirical formula= CH3O2

Which substance is made up of molecules that can have temporary dipoles?
Dahasolnce [82]

Answer:

Molecules that contain dipoles are called polar molecules and are very abundant in nature. For example, a water molecule (H2O) has a large permanent electric dipole moment.
