The answer is it will take 31.4 inches of yarn to outline earth.
10×3.14=31.4
She needs to know the circumference of the Earth.
So she would do pi times the diameter which is above.

31.4 inches

I hope this helps!!!!!

Hey there! :D

We would want to find the circumference, since she wants to outline the earth with yarn.

C= πd

Plug in what you know.

C= 3.14*10

C= 31.4

She will use 31.4 inches of yarn to outline the earth.

I hope this helps!

Answer:

See Explanation!

Step-by-step explanation:

When multiplying fractions, you do not need a common denominator, and the entire fraction gets multiplied across, however when adding or subtracting fractions, you must have a common denominator, and then only compute the numerator, as the bases are already the same

What's the surface area of this figure? (figure shown on picture)
KIM [24]

Answer:

800 in²

Step-by-step explanation:

Let’s find the area of all the shapes in the net.

10 · 10 = 100

100 · 2 = 200

15 · 10 = 150

150 · 4 = 600

200 + 600 = 800

A math book at the victor valley college bookstore originally cost $84 to purchase if they sell it for $126 what is the markup r
Sergio039 [100]
50% because you first subtract the original price from the new price so 126-84 equals 42 then you divide that by the original price 84 which will give you .5 which turns to 50%

Evaluate 2/3+3/4
1and5/12
chubhunter [2.5K]

2/3 + 3/4 = 8/12 + 9/12 = 17/12 = 1 5/12

1 + 5/12 = 12/12 + 5/12 = 17/12 = 1 5/12

2/3 + 3/4 = 1 + 5/12

Variable y varies directly with variable x, and y = 45 when x = 9.
Alenkasestr [34]
Direct variation means their ratio is a constant
x/y is 9/45=1/5
so when x=2, y=5*2=10
