Julie is making a poster of the Earth. She wants the Earth to be a circle with a diameter of 10 inches. She wants to outline the

Earth with yarn.
How many inches of yarn will Julie need to outline the Earth in her poster?

The answer is it will take 31.4 inches of yarn to outline earth.
10×3.14=31.4
She needs to know the circumference of the Earth.
So she would do pi times the diameter which is above.

31.4 inches
