Ratio = 2:3 = 2/5

Distance between the x coordinates: 3
Distance between the y coordinates: 7

x: 3 * 2/5 = 1.2
y: 7 * 2/5 = 2.8

x coordinate of point: 6 - 1.2 = 4.8
y coordinate of point: 1 + 2.8 = 3.8

So the point that divides the segment AB in the ratio of 2:3 is (4.8 , 3.8) or (24/5 , 19/5)

Hope this helps :)

jolli1 [7]

Answer:

The answer would be B

2.5x = 45

(x) would be the number of dolls, multiplied by how much each doll costs ($2.50) and the product would be how much she has to spend. Hope this helps!

Use synthetic division to find the remainder. When x 3 + 4x - 7 is divided by x - 3
Ilya [14]
ANSWER

b. 32

EXPLANATION

The give expression is:

{x}^{3} + 4x - 7

We want to find the remainnder when this polynomial is divided by x-3 using synthetic division.

We write out the coefficient and perform the synthetic division as shown in the attachment.

The remainder is 32
