For each vertex just take the x and y coordinate and apply the translation. so for the point (-3,-2) make them (-3+2, -2+3)=(-1,1) and do the same for the other two points (0,2) and (-7,3)

Answer:

A. (-5,6),(2,5),(-1,1)

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given an image of a triangle on coordinate plane. We are asked to find the coordinates of vertices of the triangle under the translation (x, y) —> (x + 2, y + 3).

The given translation rule tells us to add 2 to x-coordinates and 3 to y-coordinates of each vertices of the given triangle.

The coordinates of vertices of the triangle are (-7,3), (0,2) and (-3,-2).

After adding 2 to x-coordinates and 3 to y-coordinates the new coordinates would be:

(-7,3)\rightarrow (-7+2,3+3)=(-5,6),

(0,2)\rightarrow (0+2,2+3)=(2,5)

(-3,-2)\rightarrow (-3+2,-2+3)=(-1,1)

Therefore option A is the correct choice.

2. Students who wish to represent the school at a school board meeting are asked to stop
ella [17]

Answer: Biased sample

Step-by-step explanation:

This is a biased sample because only students with strong opinions are likely going to volunteer or show interest in representing the school at the board meeting. This sample is a voluntary type sample, and at such the conclusion is not valid. This sample is biased because a group or population of students have a higher or lower sampling probability.

6. Which expression is equivalent to -21 + 28x?
Rina8888 [55]
Solution,
-28x^2+35x
take the common,
-7x(4x-5)
The answer is -7x(4x-5)
Here,
If we solve,
-7x(4x-5)
Then, the answer would be:
= -7x*4x+7x*5
= -28x^2+35x
Hope it helps

Which are the solutions of the quadratic equation? x2 = –5x – 3 –5, 0 StartFraction negative 5 minus StartRoot 13 EndRoot Over 2
boyakko [2]

<u>Given</u>:

The quadratic equation is x^{2}=-5 x-3

We need to determine the solutions of the quadratic equation.

<u>Solution</u>:

Let us solve the equation to determine the value of x.

Adding both sides of the equation by 5x and 3, we get;

x^{2}+5 x+3=0

The solution of the equation can be determined using quadratic formula.

Thus, we get;

x=\frac{-5 \pm \sqrt{5^{2}-4 \cdot 1 \cdot 3}}{2 \cdot 1}

x=\frac{-5 \pm \sqrt{25-12}}{2 }

x=\frac{-5 \pm \sqrt{13}}{2 }

Thus, the two roots of the equation are x=\frac{-5 + \sqrt{13}}{2 } and x=\frac{-5- \sqrt{13}}{2 }

Hence, the solutions of the equation are x=\frac{-5 + \sqrt{13}}{2 } and x=\frac{-5- \sqrt{13}}{2 }
