In conclusion to a mitotic division, which yields two identical diploid daughter cells, the end result of meiosis is haploid daughter cells with chromosomal combinations different from those originally present in the parent. In sperm cells, four haploid gametes are produced.

nata0808 [166]

Answer:

Chromatin

Explanation:

Chromatin means<em> "chroma"</em> in Greek. It can be found in <em>eukaryotic cells</em> with <u>non-dividing nucleus</u>. They make up the<u> chromosomes of cells</u> during <em>cell division. </em>The fibers of chromatin consists of DNA<em> (deoxyribonucleic acid</em>) and proteins<em> (histones and non-histones)</em>.

It is said that chromatins got their name owing to their<em> bright colors when mixed with dye</em>. This was found by scientists who inspected it under a microscope.

How have societal pressures such as food, energy and resource shortages driven the development of biotechnologies? I need 2 rese
WITCHER [35]

Explanation:

In biotechnology, several tools have been created to solve practical issues faced within society- one such tool is genetic engineering. Genetically modified organisms (GMs) with their DNA changed or transformed through genetic engineering methods usually GMOs include modifications in DNA through the incorporation of genes from all creatures such as plants, fungi, viruses and livestock.

These are referred to as transgenic organisms, which contribute to several innovations by increasing the nutritional value of foods and improving global food security which is the availability of food for the entire population.

  • GM crops are believed to be more robust in nutritional value and taste, and may be altered to boost the nutritional profile. For example, Golden Rice,a modified staple, is thought to be the solution to preventable cases of blindness caused by vitamin A deficiency. This variety has been altered to biosynthesise β-carotene, a vitamin A precursor.
  • Pest infestation leads to significant crop loss every year. These GM crops can increase food security. They are immune to pests and should decrease the use of herbicides and pesticides, thereby growing crop yields and making output more effective. One of the first GM tomatoes dubbed the Flavr Savr was made for longer shelf life. A gene has been introduced from a different species to slow down the tomato's ripening without altering its taste or nutritional content, as well as reducing its vulnerability to fungal infection.
