A speaker who is ________ should prepare for emotional responses which are often negative.
Tomtit [17]

I believe the answer is also: Prepared for emotional response, often negative

When a speaker is expecting negative emotional response before doing anything, there is a really high chance that the speaker would interpret even neutral comment as negative criticism. By default, this would create an illusion that their speaking performance is worse than it actually is.

Do you agree with Roosevelt that muckrakers—today called investigative journalists—need to know when to stop? Explain your posit
denpristay [2]

Answer:

Yes, I do agree with him.

Explanation:

I do agree with him, as sometimes investigative journalists today are sometimes overexaggerating while researching certain topics, and sometimes can be very biased. Therefore, it is of crucial interest that sometimes they should know when to stop, and to be realistic what is investigative journalism and what is going over the border.
