Divide 24 by 6 because that is how many numbers are on the cube which would equal 4
Then multiply 4 and 2 because that's how many possibilities there are of rolling a number less than 4 and is even and the solution is 8

Regina can type an average of 40 words per minute. If one page has 500 words, how long will it take her to type 20 pages?
Bumek [7]

1 min = 40 words

1 page = 500

It would take Regina 250 minutes to type 20 pages because we would first divide 500 words by 40 words (40 words equaling 1 minute) to first find out how long it took her to type 1 page. After finding it was 12.5 mins we then multiple, 12.5 x 20 which gives us 250 minutes. Which is also 4 hours and 10 minutes I believe.

The radius of a semicircle is 2 feet. What is the semicircle's diameter?
fomenos

Answer:

11/7 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of a circle = pi

Semicircle would be 1/2 of pi

1/2 × 22/7 × 1

You must divide by one to get the value of 1/2

11/7 is the answer

Find two other pairs of polar coordinates of the given polar coordinate, one with r > 0 and one with r < 0.
navik [9.2K]

Answer:

A) (5, 7π/4):   (5, 15π/4) and (-5, 3π/4)

B) (−6, π/2):   (−6, 5π/2) and (6, -π/2)

C) (5, −2):       (5, 2π-2) and (-5, -π-2)

Step-by-step explanation:

To find pair of coordinates for (r>0), add 2π to corresponding θ. For (r<0) subtract π from given angle to find second pair of coordinate.

A)  (5, 7π/4)

For (r>0)

θ =  7π/4 + 2π

θ =  15π/4

Point is (5, 15π/4)

For (r<0)

θ =  7π/4 - π

θ =  3π/4

Point is (-5, 3π/4)

As it can be seen in Fig 1

(5, 7π/4)=(5, 15π/4)=(-5, 3π/4)

B)  (−6, π/2)

For (r>0)

θ =  π/2 + 2π

θ =  5π/2

Point is (6, 5π/2)

For (r<0)

θ =  π/2 - π

θ =  -π/2

Point is (-6, -π/2)

As shown in fig 2

(-6, π/2) = (6, 5π/2) = (-6, -π/2)

C) (5, −2)

For (r>0)

θ =  -2 + 2π

Point is (5, 2π-2)

For (r<0)

θ =  -2 - π

Point is (-5, -π)

As shown in Fig. 3

(5, −2) = (5, 2π-2) = (-5, -π)

Marcus has a total of 10 nickels and dimes in his pocket. he has a total of 70 cents. how many dimes does he have in his pocket?
Vesnalui [34]
10 coins in nickels & dimes = $0.70

1 nickel = $0.05
1 dime = $0.10

4 dimes = $0.40
6 nickels = $0.30

4 dimes + 6 nickels = 10 coins
$0.40 + $0.30 = $0.70

The answer is: He has a total of 4 dimes in his pocket.
