Answer: 0.190 over 0.11 atmosphere

Explanation:

Pressure of the gas is defined as the force exerted by the particles on the walls of the container. It is expressed in various terms like 'mmHg', 'atm', 'kiloPascals' etc..

All these units of pressure are inter convertible.

We are given:

Pressure of the gas = 145 mmHg over 85 mm Hg

Converting this unit of pressure into 'atm' by using conversion factor:

760mmHg=1atm

145mmHg=\frac{1}{760}\times 145=0.190atm

85mmHg=\frac{1}{760}\times 85=0.11atm

Thus there will be 0.190 atm in 145 mmHg and 0.11 atm in 85 mm Hg.

The patient's blood pressure is 0.190 over 0.11 atmosphere.

A metal foil has a threshold frequency of 5.45 \times 10^{14} \text{ } \text{Hz}5.45×10 14 Hz. Which of the colors of visible l
nalin [4]

Answer:

Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet

Explanation:

According to Einstein's equation of photoelectric effect, the kinetic energy of emitted photoelectron is the difference between the energy of the incident photon and the work function of the metal. The work function of the metal referee to the minimum energy that must be supplied in order to eject an electron from a metal surface. The energy of the incident photon must exceed the work function of the metal.

When we look at the electromagnetic spectrum, only the selected colours have frequency above the threshold frequency as shown by the image attached below.

Three beakers contain clear, colorless liquids. One beaker contains pure water, another contains salt water, and another contain
gladu [14]
Pure water may be identified by its density: it will have the lowwest density of the three solutions, given that the solutes (salt and sugar) increase the density (this is the easiests and quickest way).

You can also measure the freezing points or boling points to identify the pure water because the solutes depress the freezing points and increase the boling points.

To differentiate sugar water and salt water, you can probe which one conducts electricity, because salt water is a conductor (given that it ionizes into Na+ and Cl-) but sugar water is not a conductor.
