Affirmative action are those actions that are taken to modify the present or past laws against discrimination. It is a cure for the effects of past discriminatory actions.
It also helps to maintain equality between men and women. An employee face many discrimination in the work place and also while recruitment. The federal, local and state laws have identified several bases of discrimination and they are:
