We know, Volume of a Cone = πr² h/3
v = 3.14 * (11)² * 4.5/3
v = 3.14 * 121 * 1.5
v = 569.91 in³

In short, Your Answer would be Option C

Hope this helps!

Find an equation for the nth term of the arithmetic sequence. -15, -6, 3, 12, ...
Mariulka [41]

Answer: t_{n}=-15+9(n-1)

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for finding the nth term of an arithmetic sequence is given as:

t_{n}=a+(n-1)d

a = first term = -15

d = common difference = -6 - (-15) = 9

n = number of terms

substituting into the formula , we have :

t_{n} = -15+(n-1)9

t_{n}=-15+9(n-1)

The ratio of the numerator and denominator of a rational number is 2 : 7 and
Nadya [2.5K]

Answer:

6/21.

Step-by-step explanation:

let the rational number be 2x/7x.

2x + 4 / 7x - 2 = 10 /19

Cross multiply:

19(2x + 4) = 10(7x - 2)

38x + 76 = 70x - 20

96 = 70x - 38x

32x = 96

x = 3.

So the rational number is  2*3/ 7*3

= 6/21.

write about which method you prefer to use to divide by 5 counting up, counting back on a number line, or dividing by 10, and th
maria [59]

Answer:

In First method : counting up, counting back on a number line,

If we want the quotient after dividing the number by 5 then we count how many 5 we get from 0 to the dividend.

For example :  \frac{30}{5}

Since, from 0 to 30 there are six 5's obtained. ( because 5 × 6 = 30 )

Thus,  \frac{30}{5}=6

In Second Method : dividing by 10, and then doubling the quotient.

First we divide the number by 10 then multiply the quotient by 2.

For Example: \frac{30}{5}

Since, \frac{30}{10}=3

2\times 3 = 6

Thus, \frac{30}{5}=6

Now, when we compare the above methods then we conclude that for the smaller numbers first method is appropriate because for small numbers we can easily count total 5's from 0. While for large numbers Second method is appropriate because it is hard to count the total 5's for the large number.
