The first step is to figure out what to right in which order (because of the Order of Operations). The operations in this problem are addition and division. We know that because 'more' means addition and 'quotient' means division. The division should go first (before addition, because of PEMDAS). No we start making the equation. The quotient of n and 8 is n ÷ 8, and 13 more than the quotient of n and 8 is (n ÷ 8) + 13.
