Answer: Approximately 3799 or 3800 cubic inches

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the volume of a cylinder I imagine I'm first finding the area of one of the circular "bases" (top or bottom) using the formula: Area = pi x radius squared. Once you have the area of a base, imagine you "stack" as many of them on top of each other until you get to the given height (here, it's 10 in. tall).

So . . . pi (3.14) x 11 (radius)^2 (3.14 x 11 squared) = 3.14 x 121 = 379.94 x 10 in. tall = 3799.4 cubic inches (in^3)

Manny was given the equation (x+2)(x-7)=0 and asked to find the zeros. The solutions he came up with were x=2 and x=-17.
Inessa [10]

Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

(x + 2)(x - 7) = 0 ← in standard form

Equate each factor to zero and solve for x

x + 2 = 0 ⇒ x = - 2

x - 7 = 0 ⇒ x = 7

Thus the zeros are x = - 2 and x = 7

Convert from DMS (degrees, minutes, seconds) to decimal form (degrees)
tino4ka555 [31]
All I remember is: 1° (degree) = 60' (minute) = 3600" (second) and use the given numbers to put on the..... d° m' s"........dd = d + m/60 + s/3600

1) 118°44'15" => 118/1 + 44/60 + 15/3600 = 118.7375

same thing with
2) 48°30'36" => 48 + 30/60 + 36/3600 = 48.51
