When Coach Kwan notices that a player is getting tired, she takes out the tired player and substitutes a fresh player. Which typ
kotegsom [21]

Answer: Single replacement Reaction

Explanation:

A replacement reaction is a chemical reaction in which an element replaces another element in a compound especially when it is more reactive than the former. There are two types of replacement reaction, the single and double replacement reaction.

In the former, one element which is usually more reactive than the other replaces it . For example in the single replacement, a more reactive metal replaces a less reactive metal and also a more reactive non metal can replace a less reactive non metal.

A + BC → B + AC

looking at the equation aove, you can see that B replaces A

Also In double replacement, the elements in the both reacting compounds are replaced or exchanged to form new compounds as can be illustrated in the equation

AB + CD —— AC + BD

In the case of Coach Kwan, she follows the Single replacement model as she substitutes a less active and tired player with an active one.

An empty plastic bottle is sealed in a cool room and then moved to a very hot room. What can best be stated about the air pressu
mel-nik [20]
A fast moving stream of air has a lower air pressure than a slower air stream. As the stream of air moved over the top of the paper, the air pressure over the paper dropped. The air pressure underneath the paper stayed the same. The greater air pressure underneath lifted the paper strip and it rose. The idea that a moving air stream has lower air pressure than air that is not moving is called “Bernoulli’s Principle”.

The force of the moving air underneath the balloon was enough to hold it up. The weight added by the paper clip prevents the balloon from going too high. But that is only part of the story. The balloon stays inside the moving stream of air because the pressure inside is the air stream is lower than the still air around it. As the balloon moves toward the still air outside of the air stream, the higher pressure of the still air forces the balloon back into the lower pressure of the air stream. Bernoulli’s Principle at work again!

Which interaction occurs when light goes into an object as heat energy?
Rufina [12.5K]

Interaction occurs when light goes into an object as heat energy is Absorbed light.

Absorbed light makes an object dark. Absorption of light is when the light is absorbed by the object and converts it into heat energy. The objects converts the wavelength of light into the larger wavelength of heat. this makes the object warmer and produced energy. Absorption depends on the frequency of light that is transmitted. The wavelength of light defined as the distance between the the two successive troughs of the the light wave.

Therefore, Interaction occurs when light goes into an object as heat energy is Absorbed light.
