I assume it is directed 30 degrees above the positive x-axis. F = 50 pounds F_x = 50 cos(30) pounds = 43.3 pounds F_y = 50 sin(30) = 25 pounds Let i and j be unit vectors along the x and y axes, respectively. Then F = F_x i + F_y j = (43.3 i + 25 j) pounds

It is true that the light is 15.000 more dangerous than the radiation of a microwave.

What is the wavelength?

The wavelength shows the extent or how far the wave travels. Now we know that the energy of the wave can be use to find out how much dangerous the wave is.

Now;

1.6 * 10^-19 J = 1eV

x J = 1.8 eV

x = 1.8 eV * 1.6 * 10^-19 J /1eV

x = 2.88 * 10^-19 J

Now if the energy of the microwaves is 1.2 x 10^-4 J, then it follows that;

2.88 * 10^-19 J/ 1.2 x 10^-4 J,

= 2.4 * 10^15

Hence, it is true that the light is 15.000 more dangerous than the radiation of a microwave.

When two objects of different masses, different temperatures, and different sizes are placed in thermal contact, energy will alw
denpristay [2]

Answer:

a) from the hotter object to the cooler object

Explanation:

temperature moves by conduction, which is associated with the movement of atoms or molecules and the always move from hight temperatures to lower temperatures to attain thermal equilinrium of the system.

so when two objects are placed together and have different temperatures then the system is not in thermal equilibrium and to attain it, temperature can only move to coller object and not from the coller object according to thermodynamics.
