The key to answering this question is to realize that you have two polyhedrons combined to form one thus the overall volume would be equal to the sum of the two polyhedron.

Total volume= (volume of prism) + (volume of cuboid)

a) Volume of cuboid (V_{1})= l  *  w  *  h
      l   = 13ft
      w = 18ft
      h =  21ft
: . <span>V_{1} = 13ft * 18 ft * 21ft
</span>                              = 4914ft ^{3}

b) Volume of Prism (<span>V_{2})</span> =  \frac{1}{2} * b * h * H
      b  = 18ft
      h  = 16ft
      H = 13ft
: . V_{2}= \frac{1}{2} * 18ft * 16ft * 13ft
                              = 1872ft^{3}

Thus Overall Volume = 6786ft^{3}

In what type of radioactive decay does the atomic number of the product decrease by one? Select all that apply.
VladimirAG [237]
The atomic number of the product decrease by one in the d) positron emission and the e) electron capture radioactive decay. These radioactive decays are two of three common forms of the Beta Decay which occurred when the proton released a positron and a neutron emitted an electron<span>. The Beta Decay can increase or decrease the atomic number.</span>

Calculate the hydroxide ion concentration [oh-] for human urine (ph = 6.2). notice this is about hydroxide.
igomit [66]

[OH⁻] = 1.6 × 10⁻⁸ mol / dm³

<h3>Explanation</h3>

By definition, [\text{H}^{+}] = 10^{-\text{pH}}, where [\text{H}^{+}] is the concentration of proton in the solution.

pH = 6.2 for this solution. As a result, [\text{H}^{+} = 10^{-6.2} = 6.31 \times 10^{-7} \; \text{mol} \cdot \text{dm}^{-3}.

[\text{H}^{+}] \cdot [\text{OH}^{-}] = \text{K}_w, where [\text{OH}^{-}] the concentration of hydroxide ions and \text{K}_w is the dissociation constant of water.

\text{K}_w = 10^{-14} \; \text{mol}\cdot \text{dm}^{-3} at 0.10 MPa and 25 °C. As a result, [\text{OH}^{-}] = \text{K}_w / [\text{H}^{+}] = 10^{14} / (6.31 \times 10^{-7}) = 1.6 \times 10^{-8} \; \text{mol}\cdot \text{dm}^{-3}.

How might you estimate the minimum temperature
bixtya [17]
To estimate for the minimum temperature of a daily forecast of low temperature, the first estimate would be the dew point temperature approximately an hour before the daily high temperature is reached. I hope this helps you on your assignment.
